Last week, news broke of Apple’s next product announcement scheduled for September 9. Though the company has kept quiet about content for the announcement, experts speculate it will introduce the iPhone 6 and, possibly, the iWatch. The iPhone 6 is expected to feature a larger screen to compete with Samsung and HTC smartphones. It will also likely use iOS8, introduced at the 2014 World Wide Developers conference.
Few facts are known about the rumored iWatch, but Apple has recently received a patent for a smartwatch, according to CNN. Both devices are believed to use a sapphire glass screen for greater scratch resistance, which could mean a higher price point than past Apple mobile devices.
