With the addition of Adobe Scan, Adobe is removing the pain of scanning documents on the go. Though mobile apps the scan documents have been around for a while, they are not always free and Adobe’s product is already assured to work with Adobe reading and editing tools.
The app uses optical character recognition to convert a picture of text into a PDF. It also connects with Adobe Document Cloud for access on the desktop. Adobe says the app uses machine learning over time too. Adobe Scan is available on both Android and Apple devices.
