While the world prepared for the launch of iPhone X, Apple rolled out another useful product this week: an update to iOS 11. Originally launched in September, this iOS upgrade has been updated five times. Though iOS 11.1 is not a major update (that will be iOS 11.2) it does feature some useful fixes and improved features:
- A patch for the KRACK WiFi vulnerability detailed in our earlier post
- 70 new emojis
- A fix for blurry photos
- Security improvements for Messages and Siri
This update is available for iPhone 5 and newer.
