Five tech innovations shown at CES 2025 useful for businesses

It’s over. The biggest tech event in the world, CES 2025, ended two weeks ago. It’s known for being consumer-oriented, but businesses can find applications.

There was much shock and awe about future tech, but what’s available and valuable now? Many workers use multiple monitors. I even use one as a solopreneur.

How about a laptop featuring two displays? The Lenovo Thinkbook Plus Gen 6 provides two browser windows of the same size with the touch of your fingers—savings in equipment and desk space.

Do you need to impress during your meetings and presentations? Look no further than XGIMI and their Ascend 100-inch motorized projector screen. Its small footprint makes it easy to move around, too.

Do you have aging laptops that lack features? The Asus Zenbook A14, a Best of CES winner, includes a 30-hour plus battery, many ports available, and wireless connections. Its processor gives it Copilot +PC powers, giving you AI summarization and text generation.

Do your employees need cell phone access anywhere? The HMD OffGrid dongle allows Android or iPhone to send text messages and contact emergency services via satellite networks. A yearly subscription is necessary.

If your business runs on iPhones and your employees must charge constantly, the Swippitt will make a difference. It looks like a toaster, but it swaps out batteries in seconds. The drawbacks are the price, over $500, and the phones need a special case.
