Does your business want to automate more processes? Are your employees asking for (or already using) apps that help them automate tasks? There are solutions, but you need to ask the right questions.
Empower your employees by actively seeking their insights on what processes need improvement and what could help them do their jobs more efficiently. Together, make a detailed list, including any apps they use. Their input and buy-in are necessary for success.
Use G2 or Capterra to search for platforms to help solve issues your business and employees face. If you don’t have anyone comfortable with coding, consider no-code platforms. Low-code platforms may work well if you have developers on staff.
Choose a platform that’s familiar with your business type and size. A platform that says we’ve never done that, but I’m sure we can, is a red flag. Reject that vendor to avoid potential problems.
The platform should help solve all your issues. Having several platforms can be difficult for your IT department to keep up with and impede collaboration between departments.
If the platform touts AI, ask for specifics on how it’s working within the platform. So much of AI is hype and not as helpful as it claims. Is it easy to learn?
All employees who will be using the platform should see the demo. If they look mystified, it’s not a good sign. Lastly, will the platform integrate with your other software and not violate security protocols?
