Why video marketing is an audacious and beautiful way for small businesses to captivate and engage potential customers on social media

How do you choose between TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram? Should your business use reels or stories? Social media marketing is a given for small businesses, but the options are endless.

We discussed the many choices in a blog several months ago. One thing hasn’t changed: knowing what social media your customers prefer and focusing your marketing on those sites.

Have you tried video marketing on social media? Statistics show it’s popular with marketers and customers alike. And it’s reasonably straightforward.

Most cell phones take excellent videos. The second most important thing is good lighting. Tripods and light rings are available through Amazon.

Videos for social media marketing don’t require a big budget. A more down-home approach works fine. They’re a beautiful way to connect more intimately with your customers or clients.

And they should be short. Show your services, products, or process in a few minutes or less. The aim is to educate and illustrate how your products or services help them.

Editing videos requires a learning curve, but the software keeps getting less complicated. A freelance video editor isn’t hard to find, either. An experienced video editor is a good idea if you want to add music or lots of cuts.

Video marketing on social media is not a complicated or expensive process for a small business. All you need is a well-written story that connects with potential customers, a cell phone, and good lighting.
